shamrockShamrock Trinket Box

This St. Patrick's Day, make a craft stick box to hold all of your good luck charms!

Materials

  • 57 Craft Sticks (Popsicle Sticks)
  • 4 Large Wooden Hearts (available at most craft stores) or Foamie Shapes
  • Green Paint and Brush
  • Tacky Glue

Instructions

  1. Paint the four large wooden hearts green. Let dry.
  2. Line up 12 craft sticks. Glue a 13th and 14th stick lengthwise across the top and bottom to hold them together. This will become the top.
  3. Make another set. This will become the bottom.
  4. Add two more stick on either side of the bottom lengthwise pieces to start building the sides.
  5. Continue adding sticks, alternating the top and bottom with the side until you have eight sticks stacked. Let dry.
  6. Glue the 4 hearts on the top in the shape of a shamrock. 
  7. Fill with good luck charms!
