Waffle Sandwich

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so start your day off right with this yummy – and easy to prepare – treat! If you want, have a parent help you scramble an egg for your sandwich to add extra protein.


Ingredients

    • 2 whole-grain toaster waffles
    • 1 slice low-fat Swiss cheese (or a cheese of your choice)
    • 1 slice Canadian bacon

Instructions

  1. Toast waffles.
  2. While hot, layer cheese and Canadian bacon on one waffle.
  3. Top with remaining waffle.
  4. Cut in half. Serves 2.
